Project Description

 

This project is part of the Accessible Stations initiative so that all subway riders are no more than two stops from an accessible station. The project consisted of the installation of two ADA elevators connecting the street level to the mezzanine and platform levels; installation of four new staircases; refurbishment of three existing staircases; and upgrades to the station communication, fiber optic, CCTV, telephone, fire alarm and network systems.
