Cost Estimator
Study projects and review contract documents: Calc bid item quantities per blueprints, specs and as built drawings. Visit site for info on job conditions.
Give scopes to supplier- subcontractors to get bid quotes for costing.
Help form bids & prep project costing using HCSS software.
Assist Design. Build Coordinator In writing proposals/preliminary designs/develop construction schedules.
Cost design build projects. & negotiate/buyout projects/draft subcontractor agreement-s/purchase orders.
Help prep project change orders. Use Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Procore & Primavera.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering and 2 years’ experience as above or as a Civil Engineering Technician using HCSS construction software, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Procore and Primavera technologies.
